Tuners modified the new BMW Z4 sDrive30i

The range of modifications of the new BMW Z4 the most “bassy” is the version M40i, while “younger” sDrive30i is a bit more flexible. DTE Systems, however, did little to improve the performance of this Roadster, setting a tuning box.

The plug-and-play increased the capacity of 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine 24 HP of power and 66 Nm of torque. The total return of the unit makes 282 HP and 466 Nm of torque.

In addition to improving throttle response, the German Roadster is now faster in the sprint to 100 km/h in about 10% the acceleration time dropped from 5.4 seconds for the serial version to 5.0 seconds modified. 340 HP and 500 Nm of the 3.0-litre Z4 M40i turbo accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

The new model from DTE Systems allows you to control using a new smartphone application by many characteristics of the machine. Thus, drivers can choose between three different modes — “Dynamic”, “Sport” and “Performance”, but maximum power is only available when the engine optimum operating temperature.

The price is more than decent: tuner asks for 229 euros per ordinary pedal box and 259 euros for the system with the control function on the smartphone, including delivery.

Browsing through the website of DTE Systems, we also found the other two software updates: one for the sDrive20i , which improves acceleration more than 10%, and one for M40i, which adds another 57 BHP and 80 Nm, while improving fuel consumption by up to 15%.
