The Germans have developed a new design of the rear beam for vehicles
Company ZF will offer a versatile modular design which is able to replace the traditional “I-beam”.
For the whole of automotive history has accumulated a lot of designs of the rear suspension, starting with the whole “bridge” on the springs and ending multilink independent and driven.
To set modern trends in the global automotive industry, new cars are not created from scratch but are based on a universal modular platform.
In the same direction worked and the German company ZF, which offers car manufacturers a versatile modular design of the rear suspension with the following features:
1. Rear wheel cars are controlled, which helps when maneuvering in tight spaces in Parking lots, when parallel Parking or cornering at high speeds
2. The suspension itself by its technical characteristics is fully independent with adjustable stiffness, etc. through the Manager of the electronic module.
3. For installation on all-wheel-drive or hybrid car, the suspension module can be equipped with a separate motor, with a capacity of 150 KW and a gearbox that will provide the axle torque.
The cost of construction will depend on the preferences of the customer.
