Skoda Octavia RS pumped up to 290 horsepower
German tuning company ABT Sportsline has prepared a package of improvements for Skoda Octavia RS station wagon.
The life cycle of Skoda Octavia RS third generation is about to end. As you approach this point the Czech brand reduces the number of versions of the model. But it seems that the tuner ABT Sportsline not agree with the departure of the wagon and decided to prolong his existence, making him even more attractive in the eyes of consumers.
Using the new ECM tuners increased the power of 2.0-liter TSI turbo engine with 245 up to 290 HP, Torque increased from 370 to 410 Nm. The package of improvements includes new springs, lowering the car by 25 mm front and 30 mm rear and sports shocks from ABT, which, according to the Bavarian tuners provide a more precise control, reducing body roll and improving both steering and load distribution on the wheels. Also universal put more aggressive bumpers and wheels with diameters of 18, 19 and 20 inches in several designs.
In addition, the proposed new control units for engines 1.4 TSI, 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TDI. In the latter case, capacity will increase from 184 to 210 HP and torque is up from 380 to 420 Nm.
